Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy in York, Maine
Where grounded science meets embodied healing.
If you’re dealing with pelvic pain, pain with sex, urinary leakage, constipation, pregnancy or postpartum symptoms, you are not broken — and you are not alone.
I’m Brittany Robinson, a pelvic floor physical therapist in York, Maine, helping people across Southern Maine and the Seacoast feel at home in their bodies again.
This is pelvic floor therapy shaped by extensive clinical training and delivered with individualized, hands-on care — integrating the whole system so you can move beyond symptoms and start living fully
How is this different from ‘regular’ Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy?
Many people come to me after trying PT and still feeling stuck, rushed, or unheard.
My approach is different.
Sessions are one-on-one in a cozy private treatment room. I integrate the whole system — muscles, fascia, organs, nervous system, habits, and lived experience — rather than treating the a diagnosis in isolation.
Hands-on care is central to my work. So is collaborative problem-solving. We move at a pace that feels safe for your body.
This isn’t a one size fits none protocol.
It’s individualized, deeply attentive care designed to help you feel empowered, capable, and at home in your body again.
“Our bodies are far more resilient and capable of healing than we give them credit for.”
I’m so glad you found me! I love helping people with vulvas learn about their pelvis and how it interacts with the rest of the body and life. Part of why I love this so much is because I’ve been there and experienced first hand how transformative pelvic floor physical therapy can be.
I aim to make the uncomfortable - talking about peeing, pooping, and sex - comfortable, so that you can finally get your questions answered and concerns addressed.
Gone are the days of ‘just have another glass of wine’ to fix your pain with sex, ‘I can’t do…’ because you’re nervous you might pee your pants, or ‘of course I pee when I sneeze, I’ve had kids!’
Many pelvic health concerns have been brushed off as being ‘normal’ after you’ve had babies or have reach a ‘certain’ age, or just are not spoken about. I’ll say it a thousand times, while these issues are very common, you do not need to live with them and we can do something about it together!
So… If you’re sick of having your symptoms ignored or dismissed, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s work together to address all of your pelvic health concerns and get you back to living a full and active life!
